To provide a bulb type lighting device with an LED light source having a wide light distribution range and high device efficiency.
In the bulb type lighting device 1, an LED module 2 and a reflector 6 are arranged on a fixed stand 8 prepared on a case 4, and a reflecting plate 7 is supported on the case 4. The reflecting plate 7 has a light-transmitting section 72 for partially transmitting an emitted light from the LED module 2 toward front of the emission, and an inclined section 71 for reflecting the light in a direction perpendicular to the front of the emitted light or in a direction inclined more to a base 5 side than to the perpendicular direction. The light reflected by the reflector 6 and the reflecting plate 7 is emitted at a rear side (base 5 side) of the bulb-type lighting device 1 with diffusion effects of a globe 3.
