PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bulb type lighting device that employs a resin housing and has a structure with high-heat radiating property.SOLUTION: A bulb type lighting device includes: a resin housing; a resin solid component, at least part of which being covered by the housing; and a semiconductor light source placed on a side of one direction of the solid component, where the resin is an insulating resin and a length in a height direction of the solid component is 15% or more of a length in a height direction of a trunk part that is a heat radiation surface of the housing.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
