PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bulk carrier and a cargo handling method of the bulk carrier capable of reducing the weight of a mounted handling facility and improving a loading capacity, and capable of reducing the emission of a carbon dioxide by improving cargo handling efficiency, and without installing a handling facility of a complex mechanism to unload bulk cargos to a plurality of ports.SOLUTION: A bulk carrier includes a deck crane 10 disposed between adjoining hatches 4 and 4, a hopper 20 disposed at one broadside of a side of hatch 4, a first conveyor 30 disposed in the longitudinal direction on a lower side of the hopper 20 and along the other broadside on the side of hatch 4, a second conveyor 40 that has one end connected with the first conveyor 30 and conveys bulk cargos received from the first conveyor 30 to the other broadside, and a first turning boom conveyor 50 that has one end connected with the second conveyor 40 and the other end turning from the broadside to a land side.
