Abstract:
To provide a bump stopper which can prevent cracking during attachment to an end part outer periphery of an outer tube and prevent falling from the outer tube, and to provide a shock absorber.SOLUTION: In order to achieve the object stated above, a bump stopper 1 of the invention is formed including: a cylinder part 2 which is fitted in an end part outer periphery of an outer tube 10 of a shock absorber D to elastically deform; and claws 3 which are provided at an inner periphery of the cylinder part 2 and entered into a groove 10a provided at an outer periphery of the outer tube 10 by elastic deformation of the cylinder part 2.
