To attain excellent collision energy absorption performance and a run-on and diving prevention function without increasing the parts count and the weight.
Because a low strong curved part 18 are provided in two positions symmetric with respect to the center of the vehicle width direction, deformation easily occurs in the curved parts 18 and it is prevented that the load is reduced at once by the buckling of a load input part to attain the excellent collision energy absorption performance. In such a case, the curved part 18 is constituted of a single projected part 40 to reduce the strength to the collision load from the projected direction (vehicle front side) of the projected part 40. The width of the upper side and the lower side of the vehicle up and down direction is increased to attain the run-on and diving prevention function by the curved part 18 and thereby, the run-on and diving is suppressed without increasing the parts count or the weight.
