Abstract:
PURPOSE: To sufficiently absorb the impact energy by allowing the moment to be offset by the component force of a bumper stay when the input of the collision supplied from the front part of a vehicle is inputted, and allowing a front side member and the bumper stay to be broken in the axial direction under pressure.
CONSTITUTION: A bumper stay body 2 is fixed at the front part 102a of a front side member 102, and the lower part 102b of the front side member 102 is formed to an inverted recessed part 109 having a prescribed gap 108 between the equipment 107 for automobile, and the bumper stay body 2 is formed so that the upper surface part 2a is formed to a nearly horizontal shape and the undersurface part 2b is formed to an inclined surface form toward the front part 2c in proximity with the upper surface part 2a and a rear part 2d in proximity with the lower part 102b of the front part 102a of the front side member 102.
