To deliver forcibly the bunch winding yarn bitten into the slit groove of a bobbin by, after cutting bunch winding, attracting yarn on transfer tail side with an attracting device and gripping them with a pair of contact rollers, and controlling the peripheral speed of the bobbin and the peripheral speed of the contact roller.
A package 1 is stopped in place by being rotated on a bobbin 2 in the yarn winding direction at a slow speed, and making the sensor 15 detect a point mark at the end of the bobbin 2. After its stopping, an attracting device 9 is made to come near the bunch winding at the end of the bobbin 2 by an air cylinder, and at the same time, the bunch winding is pressed by three yarn pressing rollers 16. A cutter 17 lowers and cuts the bunch winding on the bobbin 2. At the same time the bobbin 2 is rotated in the yarn winding direction, by which the cutting yarn end of the bunch winding is attracted and gripped by the attracting device 9, and the yarn is delivered forcibly as a result of a free roller 12 being brought into pressure contact with a driving roller 11.
