To provide a bundle of paper moneys or the like, a method for producing a bundle of paper moneys, and a product assurance inspecting device for inspecting the quality of a bundle of paper moneys, which appropriately assure the quality of paper moneys by securely determining whether fraudulent act has been done to the paper moneys or the like.

A bundle of paper moneys 50 or the like comprises paper moneys 30 or the like and a strip 41, formed from a lateral strip 41a and a longitudinal strip 41b, for holding together the paper moneys 30 or the like such that the strips encircle the paper moneys 30 or the like crosswise. A product assurance tape 55 is affixed across the portion of the strip 41, in which the lateral strip 41a and the longitudinal strip 41b cross. The product assurance tape 55 is made from a transparent body containing a fluorescent material which emits excitation light upon receiving ultraviolet emitted thereto. The tape 55 makes it possible to read information, which is right underneath the product assurance tape 55, from outside.
