To provide bunk beds which can realize a compound bed mode and can attain space-saving not only in the ordinal bunk beds with vertical two piled levels mode but also in separated single bed which are connected into a compound bed.
Beds 1, 2 each have at least a couple of leg frame bodies 4, 7 in the head side and the leg side, a longitudinal couple of side frame bodies 5, 8 connecting both leg frame bodies and bed members 6, 9 held in the space surrounded by both leg frame bodies and side frame bodies. Both of the leg frame bodies are equipped with support legs 10, 14 in both sides respectively, the side frame body respectively connects the support legs to which the both leg frame bodies correspond, the height from the bottom end of the support leg 14 of the second bed to the inferior surface of the bed member 9 of the second bed is established higher than the overall height of the support leg 10 of the first bed, then, a part in the leg side of the first bed is located below the bed member of the second bed and they can cross.
