Title:
BUOY DISCRIMINATING METHOD
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH01121979
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PURPOSE:To trace many buoys simultaneously and to efficiently proceed with the work of buoy tracing by giving variation to the chromaticity of the buoys to be traced and changing a threshold level in a cursor. CONSTITUTION:Now, the cursor contains two buoys A and B, the chromaticity of the buoy A is assumed to be '100' and the chromaticity of the buoy B to be '90'. First, as shown in a step S1, when they are binarized with the threshold level of the chromaticity '100', the part of the buoy A becomes '1' and the part of the buoy B becomes '0'. When other parts are white (225), they become '1'. Next, as shown in a step S2, when they are binarized with the threshold level of the chromaticity '101', both the part of the buoy A and the part of the buoy B become '0' and the other parts become '1'. In the decision of a step S3, the results of the binarizations by the two threshold level becomes '1' and '0' only about the part of the buoy A and thus, the coordinates of the buoy A can be recognized.
