PURPOSE: To provide a burglary preventing device of a vehicle, by which an ID code of a new key is hard to be registered on the vehicle side by a malicious third party.
CONSTITUTION: A burglary preventing device of a vehicle comprises a storing means 102 for storing an ID code of a L key, and a storing means 101 for storing an ID code of an operation key, whereby if the ID code of an input key is already registered as an operation key, an immobilizer code stored in an immobilizer code storing part 103 is sent to an engine EUC 16 to enable starting of an engine, and if the already registered key and the already registered operation key are continuously input, the update mode of the ID code is energized. The ID codes of the already registered operation key and subsequently input operation key are newly registered in the storing means 101.
