Abstract:
To provide a buried structure of a steel penstock with improved workability at low cost by simply draining seepage water from the natural ground of a tunnel with simple means at low cost, reducing the man-hours of the work of burying the steel penstock and simplifying a device.
In a buried structure having a concrete layer obtained by filling a part between the outer periphery of a steel penstock and the inner wall of a tunnel with concrete including no aggregate such as gravel, for the steel penstock buried in the tunnel, seepage water from ground crests is drained through cavities 3a of the concrete so that hydraulic pressure applied to the steel penstock due to the seepage water is reduced.
