This burn-out finished fabric is obtained by perforating the prescribed part of the fabric by performing the burn-out finishing process and then performing a shrinkage treatment for shrinking the part of the fabric including the hole. In the case that the fabric consists mainly of a wool material, at least the fabric part including the hole is processed by fulling after forming the hole at the prescribed part of the fabric by performing the burn-out finishing. Also, in the case that the fabric consists mainly of a silk material, at least the fabric part including the hole is processed by salt contraction after forming the hole at the prescribed part of the fabric by performing the burn-out finishing.
