Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prevent the deterioration of gasifying rate of coke breeze by treating Zn.Pb material, in a burner for flash smelting.
CONSTITUTION: A burner for flash smelting is constituted of an upper combustion cylinder 4, provided with a ceiling having a hole 3 at the central part thereof, a premixing pipe 1, provided with a nozzle 2 at the upper part thereof and whose lower end is connected to the hole 3 of ceiling 5 of the upper combustion cylinder, an auxiliary mixing cylinder 9, provided on the ceiling 5 of the upper combustion cylinder, a lower combustion cylinder 7, whose ceiling 8, having a hole connected to the upper combustion cylinder 4 at the central part thereof, is connected to the lower end of the upper combustion cylinder 4, and a material charging pipe 10, provided in the ceiling 8 of the lower combustion cylinder. The premixing pipe 1, the ceiling 5 of upper combustion cylinder and the ceiling 8 of lower combustion cylinder are provided concentrically while the central axes of the premixing pipe 1, upper combustion cylinder 4 and lower combustion cylinder 7 are arranged so as to be coaxial substantially.
