Title:
BURNER FOR TWO KINDS OF FUEL
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3765556
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To mix emulsified fuel with other fuel oil as uniformly as possible by positioning a fuel mixing chamber at the most downstream part of a fuel passage and introducing fuels supplied to two fuel passages to the mixing chamber while forming a swirl flow thereby mixing two fuels.
SOLUTION: A liquid fuel supply passage 2 and an emulsification fuel passage 1 are provided concentrically at the outer circumferential part of a spray medium passage 5 with the latter being located on the outer circumferential side. Mixing fins 6 are provided at the end part on the burner tip 8 side of the barrier wall 2a of the passages 1, 2 and liquid fuels supplied from both supply passages 1, 2 are introduced to a mixing chamber 7 while being mixed with emulsified fuel. Furthermore, vanes 4, 3 are provided on the upstream side of the mixing fins 6 provided in the liquid fuel supply passage 2 and the emulsification fuel passage 1 in order to swirl each fuel before entering into the mixing fin 6. More specifically, each fuel is imparted with a circumferential speed component and strikes against the mixing fin 6 as a swirl flow.
