Title:
BURNER USED FOR FLAME SPECTROCHEMICAL ANALYZER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS58146840
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To reduce flame and all the burner device in size, by forming plural grooves on the periphery of the front end of a sample capillary, installing a spray collision member opposed to a spray nozzle, and providing another chamber in a spray combustion chamber.

CONSTITUTION: Plural grooves 19 having trianglular sections are formed on the periphery of the front end of a sample capillary. The sample 10 is fed through the capillary 18, and at the same time, compressed air 3' is fed into an atomizing chamber 17 to eject it through the grooves 19 and spray the sample 10 from the capillary, and a mixture 3 of the sample 10 and the air in an atomized state enters a spray chamber 1. The mixture 3 atomized from the spray nozzle 17' collides with a spray collision member 15, and as a result, spray droplets are selected, and smaller ones alone are directed upwards. Another chamber 20 provided in the chamber 1 functions as an inner body resistant to the upward gas flow, and stabilizes its flow.
