Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a burner capable of accelerating mixing a pulverized coal flow with combustion air and improving ignition stability and combustibility.SOLUTION: The burner comprises: a concave hole 3 formed in a core wall 2; a bottomed cylindrical burner chamber 6 supported by a burner cover 5 provided to face an outer circumferential surface of the core wall 2 concentrically with the concave hole 3 and having an open core-side tip end; a pulverized-coal-mixture-flow ejection pipe 9 open at an eccentric position of a bottom 8 of the burner chamber 6 and ejecting a pulverized coal mixture flow 11; an air ejection pipe 12 open at an eccentric position opposite to the pulverized-coal-mixture-flow ejection pipe 9 across an axis of the burner chamber 6 in the bottom 8 of the burner chamber 6 and ejecting temperature-adjustment air 13; and a ring ejection portion 14 formed between the burner chamber 6 and the concave hole 3 and ejecting combustion air 18, the bottom 8 of the burner chamber 6 being located closer to a core than the burner cover 5.
