Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a burner in which the failure of an air flow rate sensor can be checked.
CONSTITUTION: The flow rate of combustion air supplied from a combustion fan 5 to a burner is detected by an air flow rate sensor 23, and a burner for controlling the flow rate of the combustion air based on the detected value is formed. Before the burning operation is started, no open failure in the sensor 23 is judged by an open failure judging unit 28 in the state that the fan 5 is stopped. Then, no zero point failure of the sensor 23 is judged by a zero point failure judging unit 29, and then the fan 5 is rotated by a short-circuit failure judging unit 30. Thereafter, no short-circuit failure of the sensor 23 is judged. Thus, the failure of the sensor 23 is checked to confirm the no failure, and then burning operation is started.
