Abstract:

PURPOSE: To prevent occurrence of an unstable combustion even when the O2 concentration of combustion air is low.
CONSTITUTION: A primary air discharge port 3 discharging primary air for combustion and secondary air discharge port 4 discharging secondary air for combustion and disposed around the primary air discharge port 3 are provided. At the fore end part of the secondary air discharge port 4, a side nozzle hole 11 and a main nozzle hole 12 are provided. At the fore end part of the primary air discharge port 3, a single and annular flame stabilizer 14 is provided. The direction of injection of a fuel gas from the side nozzle hole 11 is on the side of the direction of the central axis of the annular flame stabilizer 14. Fuel injected from the side nozzle hole 11 is stabilized and combusted by the flame stabilizer 14 and a circular recirculating flame-stabilizing area is formed in the rear stream of the flame stabilizer 14 by a bluff body effect. The fuel gas from the main nozzle hole 12 is injected around the recirculating flame- stabilizing area.
