Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To lighten the ignition trouble caused by the wear and tear of a spark rod, concerning a burner.
SOLUTION: This burner is equipped with a carburetor 1, a burner head 9, a heat recoverer 12 which is provided capably of conduction with the burner head 9 and recovers the heat of combustion to the carburetor 1, a spark rod 14 which generates a spark for ignition between itself and the burner head 9, and an igniter 16 which applies high voltage to the spark rod 14, and the above spark rod 14 is arranged so that the dimension A between the tip 14b of the spark rod and the burner head 9 may be not more than a discharge limit dimension C and that the dimension B between at least a part (14a) of the section excluding the tip 14b of the spark rod and an auxiliary discharged part (the above heat recovery part 12) may be not more than the above discharge limit dimension C and not less than the above dimension A, so when the tip 14b of the spark rod 14b consumes, this can perform discharge ignition between the other part (14a) and the auxiliary discharged part (heat recovery part 12).
