Title:
BURNING WICK IGNITER BY GAS FLAME FOR KEROSENE HEATER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2003262309
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
To ignite a burning wick stably whether the burning wick is in good condition or not, by using a burning flame of gas in igniting a burning wick of a heater such as a kerosene heater, and solving the disadvantage that an electrically ignited kerosene heater or the like involves a failure of ignition by a spark, a glow coil or the like owing to fouling, aging or the like of a burning wick.
A gas nozzle emits gas, and after the emission, a spark discharge by a battery or a high voltage generator such as a piezoelectric element, or a firing source generated by a glow device such as a Nichrome coil on current fires and burns the gas, whose burning flame in turn ignites a burning wick of a heater or the like.
