Abstract:
To provide a burring fastening method which can perform fastening by one process, can shorten a work time, and can reduce a manufacturing cost while securing necessary fastening rigidity when fastening a plate-shaped fastening material 4 to a fasten material 2.SOLUTION: A plate-shaped fastening material 4 in which a small hole 3 is formed is superimposed on a fastened material 2 in which a large hole 1 are formed, a burring punch 5 is pushed into the small hole 3, a portion 6 around the small hole 3 is raised to the inside of the large hole 1 with an edge 7 of the large hole 1 as a start point, an edge 9 of the small hole 3 at the large hole 1 side is deformed to a cross-section triangle protrusion 10 by being deformed so that an internal peripheral face 8 of the small hole 3 is directed frontward in a push-in direction, the portion 6 around the small hole 3 which is raised to the inside of the large hole 1 is deformed to a cylindrical burring flange 11 along an inner face of the large hole 1 by further pushing the burring pun 5 into the small hole, and the protrusion 10 is pushed against the internal peripheral face of the large hole 1, and made to bite therein.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
