Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a signal level detector for outputting an LOS (Loss Of Signal) and a reset signal from an output of a preamplifier.
SOLUTION: The device is provided with first and second transistors each connected to a collector and a base which, a capacitor which has one end connected to an output terminal of the preamplifier and the other end connected to a junction point between an emitter of the first transistor and a collector of the second transistor, a third transistor which has an emitter connected to a collector of the first transistor and connected via a voltage shift transistor and an emitter connected to an emitter of the second transistor and connected via a voltage shift transistor, and an emitter circuit which has a pair of bias resistors respectively connected to the emitter and collector of the third transistor and detects the level of a signal inputted from the collector of the third transistor.
