Abstract:
PURPOSE: To reduce power consumption and a circuit scale by performing bit shifting without using a multiplier at the time of ramp control.
CONSTITUTION: After binary data to be transmitted are impressed to an input terminal 1, binary waveform data for transmission data are outputted through a waveform data generation circuit 2 and are supplied to a ramp control circuit 3. The bit shifting is performed to the data there, an amplitude level is stepwise changed and the ramp control is performed. The output of the ramp control circuit 3 is converted to analog sample value signals in a D/A converter 4, then smoothed in a post filter 5 and outputted from an output terminal 6 as the output of this waveform generator.
