Title:
BUS AIR-CONDITIONING DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH01119414
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PURPOSE:To make it possible to purify air in a passenger compartment of a bus even through ambient air is contaminated, with the use of a miniature air-conditioning device having an air purifying function, by providing a bypass passage to an inside air circulation passage, and by disposing an air purifier, a damper for selecting either inside air circulation or ambient air introduction, and a bypass blower, in the bypass passage. CONSTITUTION:When ambient air is not contaminated, a damper 37 is set to a position B by manipulating a manipulation switch, and a bypass blower 38 and a circulating blower 26 are driven. Accordingly, ambient air is introduced into a circulation passage, and is then fed into the passenger compartment together with circulation air through the passenger compartment so that the latter is ventilated. Meanwhile, when ambient air is contaminated, the damper 37 is set to a position A so as to stop the introduction of ambient air while the bypass blower 38 and the circulation blower 26 are driven so as to allow air from the passenger compartment to flow through an air purifying member 32 for purifying the air, and the purified air is returned into the passenger compartment. With this arrangement, even through ambient air is contaminated, it is possible to purify the air and to miniaturize the device.
