Abstract:
To provide a bus bar and a method of manufacturing the bus bar which does not produce processing residue, can reduce a material cost, prevents the swelling generated upon bending processing from protruding from front and back, and can improve production efficiency.SOLUTION: A bus bar 10 has a rectangular belt-like workpiece W having extensibility bent in edgewise bending processing such that straight line parts 11a, 11b, 11c and bent parts 12a, 12b are formed on the same flat surface. At least on respective bent ranges 14, 25 of the bent parts 12a, 12b, inclined surfaces 17, 28 are provided, the inclined surfaces which are inclined so that inside end surfaces 16, 27 of the bent parts 12a, 12b get thinner from width direction predetermined positions 15, 26, and the inclined surfaces 17, 18 are provided on the same positions of a front surface 18 and a back surface 19. The inclined surfaces 17, 28 are provided on the bent parts 12a,12b, so that swelling D generated upon the edgewise bending processing is prevented from protruding from both front and back surfaces, and production efficiency can be improved.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
