Title:
BUSH FITTING METHOD
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3652005
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bush fitting method in which the fall-off resistance from a body bore, and the high-speed operation is possible without being affected by the thermal expansion.
SOLUTION: In a method for fitting a bush 6 in which the outer diameter of a bush 6 is slightly larger than the inner diameter of a body bore 2, and the bush 6 is press fitted into the body bore 2, a thick wall part 8 is formed on the bush 6 on a tip side in the inserting direction, a thin wall part 7 is formed rearward thereof, and the inner diameter of the thin wall part 7 is larger than the inner diameter of the thick wall part 8. The bush 6 is provided with a clearance recessed part formed on a part corresponding to the thin wall part 7, and an annular recessed part formed on a part corresponding to the thick wall part 8. After the bush is press fitted into the body bore 2, the thick wall part 8 is plastically deformed by the pressure from the inner side of the bush 6 and embedded in the annular recessed part of the body bore 2.
