Title:
BUSH FITTING STRUCTURE IN SUSPENSION ARM FOR AUTOMOBILE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH08207535
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To reduce the number of part items and assembly man-hours by providing a locking wall part, for regulating the longitudinal direction movement of the inner cylinder and pin part of a bush, through locking a stopper part, for covering the inner cylinder side tip part of the bush, in a suspension member to which an arm is fitted or a vehicle body.

CONSTITUTION: In the rubber bush fitting structure of an L type lower arm in a front suspension, an inner cylinder 37 wherein a tip part is blocked, and an outer cylinder 38 wherein both end parts are opened, are press fitted respectively to the inner and outer peripheral surfaces of a rubber bush 32, and a stopper part 39 for covering the tip part of the inner cylinder 37 is formed on the tip part on the inner tube 37 side of the rubber bush 32. The shaft direction movement of the inner cylinder 37 is regulated by the shocklike contact of the stopper part 39 to a locking wall part 46 provided on a suspension member 42. A diameter-expansion part 40, wherein a diameter is expanded as near to the rear end, is formed in the inner cylinder 37, and also a seal part 41, for sealing the rear end part of the inner cylinder 37, is formed on the rear end part on the inner cylinder 37 side. A pin part 44 and the collar 42 of a bracket 33 are pressed into the inner cylinder 37 of such the rubber bush 32 and the outer cylinder 38 respectively.
