Title:
BUSH
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH08277869
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To prevent the side slip of a stabilizer bar insert-held in a stabilizer bush and to prevent the generation of noise caused by the interference with other members.

CONSTITUTION: A bush is provided with a sliding part 2 formed by insert-holding a stabilizer bar in a cylindrical vibration-proof rubber body 1 and jointing material with high sliding property to the periphery of the vibration-proof rubber body 1 so as to cover it. Flanges 21 projecting radially from both axial edges of the sliding part 2 are provided, and the bush is fixed to a base body F by brackets 31, 32 holding the peripheral surface of the sliding part 2 between the flanges 21. Since the vibration-proof rubber body 1 is cylindrical, the surface pressure is uniformly applied to the stabilizer bar, and the stabilizer bar is positively held and fixed to prevent a side slip.
