Abstract:

To provide a bushing adjusting device for an engine bracket of aircraft capable of remarkably increasing working efficiency.

Adjusting guides 15, 15 are fixedly inserted into the bushings 103, 105 of a pair of brackets 101, 102, respectively by unscrewing the cylindrical rotational operation parts 9 of the adjusting guides 15 and moving the pressing elements 14 provided thereon to the large diameter sides of the conical slopes 4 of cylindrical body parts 3 to project the pressing elements the same amount in three directions. Next, a guide shaft 2 is inserted into the adjusting guides 15 and the bushings 104, 106 other than the bushings which fix the adjusting guides, and set screws 8 are tightened to the guide shaft from three directions to secure the guide shaft to the adjusting guides 15. In this state, a honing device 16 is set to the guide shaft 2, and the inner surface of the bushing 106 to be adjusted is ground by a honing stone 33 which is rotated while being slid along the guide shaft 2.
