To provide a connection insulating cover and a switch which are capable of ensuring insulation with an insulating barrier on a bushing connection eliminated.

A connection insulating cover 40 comprises a body cover 41 which is mounted on the inner end of a bushing 22 and covers a bushing connection 20, and a connecting cover 50 which is stored in the body cover 41 and covers the bushing connection 20. The body cover 41 comprises: a cylindrical body cylinder 42; a mounting portion 44, on the front side of the body cylinder 42, in which the inner end of the bushing 22 is inserted; and an insertion hole 45 which is formed on the body cylinder 42. The connecting cover 50 comprises: a bottomed cylindrical connecting cylinder 51; a through hole 52, on the front side of the connecting cylinder 51, through which the inner end of the bushing 22 is inserted; and a slit 54 which leads to the through hole 52 from the front upper end of the connecting cylinder 51. Therefore, an insulating barrier can be eliminated because insulation of the bushing connection 20 between phases and to the earth can be ensured in all directions. As a result, the size of a switch and the number of components can be reduced.
