To provide a digital business broadcast system that can coexists with existing contact type systems where connection works of input/output devices are easy.
The business broadcast system is provided with a program timer 5 that provides an output of ON/OFF information of a series of virtual input output contacts as serial data based on the contents of a broadcast program and with a center unit 4 where input devices 1a, 1b,..., 2 are respectively connected to input terminals 21 and output devices 3a, 3b, etc., are respectively connected to output terminals 26 and that receives the serial data at a communication terminal 22b and applies connection control to the input devices and the output devices based on the ON/OFF information of corresponding contacts. The center unit 4 corresponds a virtual contact with respect to the ON/OFF information from the program timer 5 to actual input/output devices to conduct channel connection control.
