PURPOSE: To automatically dial a company printed on a business card by providing, at one edge of the card, a magnetic tape in which a telephone number printed on the card can be electrically written and from which the telephone number can be read by a card reader.

CONSTITUTION: A main body 1 of a business card is provided, at the upper edge thereof, with a magnetic tape 2 in which the telephone number of a company printed in a printing area 4 is electrically written, and with a reading direction indication mark 3 for passage of the card through a card reader. Information constituting the intrinsic function of the business card, namely, company name, name of department or division, position title, full name, company address, telephone number, facsimile number, etc., are printed in the printing area 4. To use the card, a telephone set equipped with a car reader and having an automatic calling function is used, and the card is passed through the card reader part, without an ordinary dialing operation. It is thereby possible to read the telephone number written in the magnetic tape 2, and to automatically dial the company printed on the card 1.
