Abstract:
To provide a method and system for realizing the preparation of a log by the application software of business equipment such as a copy machine, facsimile, printer, and picture storage system and a computer program product.
A remote service center monitors business equipment by using a transferred log. At the time of analyzing data in the log, the remote service center detects a warning message or an error message from application software for controlling the business equipment to be monitored, and remotely diagnoses and repairs the business equipment to be monitored.
