A monitoring computer 102 maintains and manages operation information 201, user information 207 showing a user who is permitted to monitor a operation, operation application information 202 showing a operation application operating when the operation is executed and the configuration information of a virtualized computer (virtual machine information 204), and when a certain application is operated by another computer, automatically updates a relation among the operation information, the user information, and the configuration information. Also, when the operation application or the computer included in the arbitrary operation information makes an event including failure information occur, the monitoring computer automatically generates filter information to permit the reference of the event from a relation among the operation information and the user information and the event information.
