Abstract:
To avoid deterioration in function resulting from a deposit of exhaust gas dust in a damper, in exhaust gas treatment equipment in which a gas duct transferring exhaust gas is opened and closed using a butterfly damper.SOLUTION: A butterfly damper 1 is provided that comprises: a cylindrical casing 11; a disc-shaped valve element 13 having a function of opening and closing a damper by rotating and oscillating in the casing 11; and a stopper 12 which is a protrusion formed along an inner edge circumference of the casing 11 and constricts further rotation of the valve element 13 exceeding a stop position. A stopper non-existence region being a region in which the stopper 12 is not present is formed in a part of a lower half of the inner edge circumference.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
