Abstract:
To provide a butterfly valve which has lower noise sound volume when fluid flows.SOLUTION: A butterfly valve 1 comprises: a valve stem 3 in a pipe line 2, which is orthogonal to an axial direction of the pipe line 2; a valve element 5 rotatable relative to the pipe line 2 with the valve stem 3 used as the rotation axis; a seat ring 7 fixed to an inner periphery of the pipe line 2 at a position where the seat ring liquid-tightly seals between the valve element 5 and the pipe line 2 when the valve element 5 is at a predetermined rotation position; a bypass pipe 8 connecting a first opening 11, which is the opening provided in the pipe line 2 at a downstream side of the seat ring 7, and a second opening 12 provided at a downstream side of the first opening 11; and a bypass pipe 9 connecting a first opening 13, which is the opening provided in the pipe line 2 at the downstream side of the seat ring 7, and a second opening 14 provided at the downstream side of the first opening 13.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
