Abstract:
PURPOSE:To reduce torque load of operation by supporting the disc constituting valve plate with a pair of bent lief springs. CONSTITUTION:The upper stem 13 is raised always by springs 16, 18 to place a pawl 20a in engagement with a concave 19c, whereby a follower disc 19 rotates together with a drive disc 20 solidly. Under the condition that the disc 17 is directed from the opening to closing, the periphery of the disc 17 faces the sheet 12 only and the torque load is small as well as the gap between the disc 17 and sheet 12 is not sufficiently sealed. When the drive disc 20 is thereafter turned clockwise the slope 20a' goes up the slope 19' and the upper stem 13 is pressed down, that causes the disc 17 moving in the axial direction of the valve to be pressed against the sheet 12 normally, so that all the edges are pressed to the sheet 12 uniformly.
