To provide a button depression detector capable of protecting multiple depression of the buttons with a simple structure and detecting the depression of each button, even if the depressions of the buttons overlap with one another.
Resistors R1, R2, and R3 are set to resistor values R, R, and 0.7R respectively, and comparators CMP 1 and CMP 2 discriminate high/low, by comparing input voltage with threshold of 5% of source voltage. If both switches SW 1 and SW 2 are open, both output signals Out 1 and Out 2 become low levels. If the switch SW 1 is closed and the switch SW 2 is open or the switch SW 1 is open and the switch SW 2 is closed, either of the output signal Out 1 or the Out 2 becomes a high level, and it can be detected that the button has been depressed. If both of the buttons have been pressed and the switch SW 1 and SW 2 are both closed, both the output signal Out 1 and Out 2 become low levels, and it is decided that none of the buttons have been depressed.
