PURPOSE: To prevent idle sewing operation from being generated in a sewing machine and to widely improve productivity by forcedly horizontally moving a button to be supplied from a button supply part one after another by the turn board and turn arm of a button conveying mechanism, and supplying the button to the button sewing machine.
CONSTITUTION: A button B to be discharged from a discharge port 13c of the button supply part is inserted into a notched part 14a for button insertion and the lower surface of the button is supported by a bottom part 16a of a button supporting body 16. With the rotation of the turn board 14, the button B is intermittently moved along a horizontal ring-shaped route O for every 1/4 rotation on the button supporting body 16. Afterwards, the button B falls down from an opening part 16a of the button supporting body 16 onto a lock pin 19a of a turn arm 19 positioning just under the opening part 16a and is pressed on the surface of a high friction member 20a in te lower end part of a button position correcting member 20. Then the button is held by the turn arm 19 without fail. Afterwards, the turn arm 19 is horizontally rotated in a C direction and the button B is pressed and held between a pair of button crimping parts 12b and 12b.
