Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prepare a porous teflon film having less dispersion in gas permeability at a large Gureley number, and provide a button type air cell having stable discharge capability even in long-term discharge, using the teflon film.
CONSTITUTION: This air cell is so constituted that a film with porosity reduced via the partial compression of the fine holes of a porous teflon film, or ink partially printed thereon, is laid between an air electrode and a positive electrode case. According to this constitution, a film having less dispersion in gas permeability at a larger Gureley number than a conventional teflon film can be obtained, and an air cell having stable discharge capability over a wide load range can be provided.
