Title:
BUZZER DEVICE FOR WASHING MACHINE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH0739673
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a buzzer device for a washing machine which sounds normally even if water sticks thereto, and whose sound is not distorted even at the maximum sound volume.

CONSTITUTION: When a diaphragm 37 is in a non-excited state of an electromagnet 36, the distance dimension G0 of the position in the free end 41 side of the diaphragm and the opposed face of a fitting plate part 33 opposed thereto are always controlled by a sound volume control member 39, and also, the spring of the diaphragm 37 is larger than surface tension of water placed between concerned 37 acting against the spring force and the opposed face. Therefore, with respect to the sound volume control member 39, even if the distance dimensions G0 are maximized so that the maximum sound volume is obtained, the vibration of the diaphragm 37 in always controlled in one side of amplitude by the sound volume control member, and does not become a distorted sound. Also, even if the sound volume becomes gradually smaller, and water is placed between the narrowed diaphragm 37 and the opposed face, the spring force of the diaphragm 37 acting against the surface tension is larger than the surface tension of water, therefore, it does not occur that a sounding operation stops.
