Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the BVI noise of a helicopter effectively.
SOLUTION: For reducing the BVI noise of the rotor blades 2 of the helicopter, a spoiler 3 capable of being reciprocated nearly in the vertical direction between a protruded position and an unprotruded position from the upper face and the lower face of each rotor blade 2 is provided between the front edge and the rear edge of the rotor blade 2. An actuator 4 reciprocating the spoiler 3 is provided for each spoiler 3 on a rotor system 1 including the rotor blades 2 and rotated relative to the airframe of the helicopter, and the actuator 4 is operated to reciprocate the spoiler 3 in response to the rotation timing or frequency of the rotor blade 2.
