Abstract:
To provide a bypass hole of a bucket shank part of a third stage and a method relating to the same.
In a multi-stage turbine where at least one turbine wheel supports a bucket array for rotation, and the turbine wheel is axially mounted between fixed annular arrays of first and second nozzles, a cooling air circuit for purging a wheel space between the turbine wheel and the fixed annular array of the second nozzle, includes a passage penetrated through a shank part of one or more buckets connecting a wheel space between the turbine wheel and the fixed annular array of the first nozzle, to a wheel space between the turbine wheel and the fixed annular array of the second nozzle.
