PURPOSE: To attenuate, in improving the performance of a bypass mixing type hot-water supplying apparatus especially with respect to the resumption of hot-water supply, the sharp drop in the temperature of hot water that occurs when the supply of hot water is resumed.
CONSTITUTION: In a supplying apparatus of the bypass mixing type, a mixing part BN at which the bypass 6, passed at a lower position than the heat exchanger 2, is connected with the channel 5 on the side of hot water is provided at approximately the same height as or at a higher position than the outlet CN of the heat exchanger. As a result, immediately after the supply of hot water has been stopped, it does not occur for cold water in the inflow channel in the cold water region and in the bypass to flow into the channel on the hot-water side, that is, into the hot-water region. Thus a temporary flush of cold water at the time of resumption of the hot water supply can be prevented and the performance of the hot-water heater at the resumed start of the supply is improved.
