Abstract:
PURPOSE: To improve a restoration rate by allowing a node detecting a fault to send a restoration message and allowing a node other end of a faulty block receiving the message to send the message in an opposite direction and allocating the path for a bypass.
CONSTITUTION: When a node N8 detects a fault via a link L7, the node N8 recognizes all paths having been in operation via the link L7 just before as a faulty path. Destinations to set the bypass such as nodes N7, 2, 6, 10 are set as selected nodes and sends a restoration message with the list added thereto to an adjacent node such as a node N9. Since the node N9 is not designated as the selected nodes, the node N9 transfers singly the restoration message to an adjacent node such as a node N11. Thus, the restoration message is broadcast. Since the node N6 is designated as selected nodes, a registration procedure required by allocating the bypass is processed and an acknowledge message for recite is returned to the reception path.
