Abstract:
To provide the gun arm having large fatigue strength and made of low cost aluminum material in a spot welding gun.
In a production method of the C shaped gun arm of a spot welding gun made of extruded aluminum material, two side plates 2a, 2b formed from extruded material are used for a beam material of the C shaped gun arm, an upper plate 3 made of extruded material is arranged to the upper edge parts of both side plates 2a, 2b and a lower plate 4 made of extruded material to the lower edge parts respectively as reinforcing material, these plates are fastened by a bolt 5 and welding is not used at all.
