Title:
COシフト反応用触媒
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP4721241
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a practical catalyst that exhibits especially high CO shift reactivity in the low-temperature region favorable to the shift of CO to H2 from the equilibrium theory. SOLUTION: This catalyst is constituted of a support in which at least one oxide selected from titania, silica, and zirconia is interspersed as a binder in a rutile titania powder and a noble metal supported by mainly rutile titania. The catalyst supported by a noble metal in rutile titania has high CO shift reactivity and can be prevented from being deteriorated in its CO shift reactivity by being converted into a honeycomb catalyst or a pellet catalyst by using at least one oxide selected from titania, silica, and zirconia as a binder.
