To provide a novel prophylactic or therapeutic agent for coronavirus pneumonia having the action of inhibiting SARS-CoV-2 protease (3CLpro).SOLUTION: A prophylactic or therapeutic agent for new coronavirus infection (COVID-19) contains a compound having the action of inhibiting 3CLpro as an active ingredient. The compound is preferably selected from the group consisting of tosufloxacin, meclizine, palbociclib and fluvastatin.
