Abstract:
PURPOSE: To suppress deformation of a cab and a rear arch by a method wherein, by effectively utilizing a floor frame being the main skeleton of the cab, the dispersion effect of a load is produced.
CONSTITUTION: In a truck wherein the central part of the rear end of a cab 2 mounted on a car body frame 1 inclinably centering around the lower part of a front end is disengageably engaged with the central part of a rear arch 3, fixed to the car body frame 1, through a lock mechanism 8, engaging holes are respectively formed in the under surfaces of the rear end parts of a pair of right and left floor frames 7 extending along a longitudinal direction and mounted on the under surface of the floor panel 6 of the cab 2. Hooks 10 pointing to above are arranged in the positions, corresponding to the respective engaging holes, the rear arch 3. The tip of the hook 10 is bent toward a rear to form an engaging part. By thrusting the hook 10 in the engaging hole from below with a given gap therebetween for holding in the operation state of the lock mechanism 8, deformation of the carburetor 2 and the rear arch 3 owing to a load exerted in a longitudinal direction is suppressed.
